Man dies after car rolls in southern NSW

A 43-year-old man has died after his car rolled and landed on its roof on the NSW Snowy Mountains Highway near Cooma.

Police say the accident happened on Monday night when the man and his 36-year-old female passenger were driving along a section of the road.

The pair were taken to hospital where the man later died, while the woman has non life-threatening injuries.
