The teenage parents on the run after taking their three-day-old baby girl from a western Sydney hospital have been located safe and well.

Fourteen-year-old mother Jenifer Morrison and 15-year-old father Jayden Lavender were found by officers in Willmott, in western Sydney, about 4.15pm on Thursday after they left Nepean Hospital without being formally discharged, sparking concerns for their welfare.

"Police are currently speaking to the teenagers and ambulance officers are assessing the infant as a precaution," a spokeswoman said in a statement.
