Lost bushwalker has shown up

A young woman lost in state forest at Beerburrum has walked out of the forest by herself early this morning.

Emergency crews were preparing to search for the 24-year-old this morning but police say she found her way out of the forest at about 1am.

The 24-year-old called triple zero yesterday afternoon saying she was lost but then her phone went flat and she couldn't be contacted.

Police say she has presented to the Woodford police station.
