Clive Palmer is expected in the Federal Court in Brisbane on Tuesday to face another grilling over the collapse of Queensland Nickel.

Mr Palmer appeared unwell when he faced court last Wednesday to answer questions over the whereabouts of his jet-setting nephew Clive Mensink,

Mr Mensink has been out of the country since last June, putting him out of the reach of liquidators.

Clutching a sick bag, Mr Palmer told reporters he had taken the opioid Targin, also known as oxycodone, and had memory problems.

Queensland Nickel's demise last year led to the loss of almost 800 jobs at its Yabulu nickel refinery near Townsville.

Mr Palmer will be questioned by QN's general purpose liquidators.
