Fourth arrest for horse race match fixing
Queensland Police says the latest arrest over race match fixing in Queensland is putting those doing the wrong thing on notice.
Stuart Hunter, 69, is facing a raft of charges relating to allegedly affecting the outcome of horse harness races at Albion Park in Queensland and also a track in South Australia.
Investigators also allege he facilitated the purchase of race horses despite being banned from all involvement in racing at the time.
Hunter was released on bail and will next front the Redcliffe Magistrates Court on January 8.
Police say it's the fourth such arrest in the state since the formation of a specialist QPS task force last year.
